Account & Profile

How do I create a DocTak account?
Creating a DocTak account is simple. Click the "Sign Up" button at the top of the page, enter your name, email address, and create a password. You'll receive a verification email to confirm your account. Once verified, you can complete your professional profile with your specialty, qualifications, and workplace information.
How do I reset my password?
On the login page, click "Forgot Password?". Enter the email address associated with your account and we'll send you a link to reset your password. The link expires in 60 minutes for security. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact us.
How do I update my profile information?
After logging in, go to your profile page and click the "Edit Profile" button. You can update your photo, specialty, bio, workplace, education, and contact details. Changes are saved immediately and visible to your connections across the network.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can request account deletion by contacting our support team at support@doctak.net. Once confirmed, all your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days in accordance with our privacy policy. Please note that this action is irreversible.

Networking & Community

How do I connect with other healthcare professionals?
Browse the Community section to discover professionals by specialty, location, or name. Send a connection request from their profile. Once accepted, you can message each other, view shared posts, and collaborate on discussions within the platform.
What are Groups and how do I join them?
Groups are specialty-focused communities where professionals share knowledge, discuss cases, and collaborate. Browse available groups from the Groups section, then click "Join". Some groups are open while others require moderator approval. You can also create your own group.
How do I share posts and articles?
From your dashboard, use the post composer to write text updates, share images, or link to articles. Your posts are visible to your connections and can appear in your group feeds. You can also share blog articles and medical resources to educate your network.

Jobs & Career

How do I search and apply for jobs?
Visit the Jobs section to browse healthcare positions. Use filters to search by specialty, location, or keyword. Click on a job listing to view full details, then click "Apply Now" to submit your application. You'll need a registered account to apply.
How do I post a job listing?
After logging in, navigate to the Jobs section and click "Post a Job". Fill in the job title, description, location, salary range, specialty requirements, and application deadline. Your listing will be visible to all professionals on the platform once published.
Is there a cost to post or apply for jobs?
Browsing and applying for jobs on DocTak is completely free for all registered professionals. Employers can post standard job listings at no cost. Premium featured listings that appear at the top of search results are available for a nominal fee.

How does DocTak protect my personal data?
We take data protection seriously. All data is encrypted in transit via SSL/TLS and at rest. We follow industry-standard security practices, conduct regular security audits, and comply with applicable privacy regulations. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Who can see my profile information?
Your basic profile (name, specialty, location) is visible to other registered members. You can control your privacy settings to limit visibility of contact details and personal information. Only your connections can send you direct messages.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Click the three-dot menu on any post, comment, or profile and select "Report". Choose the reason for reporting and our moderation team will review it within 24-48 hours. You can also email us directly at support@doctak.net for urgent concerns.
