1. Global platform, regional obligations
DocTak serves healthcare professionals who may access the platform from multiple countries. Depending on your location, professional role, and how you use the platform, different privacy, marketing, data transfer, and content rules may apply.
2. UAE and GCC context
For users in the United Arab Emirates and the wider GCC region, DocTak aims to operate in line with applicable privacy, e-commerce, and professional communication requirements. Institutional users should also consider any employer, regulator, or ministry guidance that applies to their setting.
3. UK and EEA context
For users in the UK and European Economic Area, regional privacy rights may include access, correction, objection, erasure, or data portability, subject to applicable law and operational limits. Where processing depends on consent, users may withdraw that consent for future processing where relevant.
4. United States context
US users should use DocTak in a manner consistent with their own institutional, state, and federal obligations. Nothing on the platform removes the need to comply with healthcare privacy, employment, advertising, or licensure rules that govern a user’s own practice setting.
5. Other markets and institutional requirements
Members in other countries remain responsible for ensuring that platform use, uploads, and cross-border collaboration comply with their local legal and professional obligations. Employers and institutions may also impose additional restrictions that users must respect.
6. International data transfers
Because DocTak may use international infrastructure, support providers, and cloud services, information may be processed outside the user’s home country. Where transfers occur, we aim to use reasonable contractual, operational, and technical safeguards appropriate to the service.
7. Questions about local rights or notices
If you have a region-specific privacy or compliance question, contact support@doctak.net with your country and the issue you want reviewed.
