1. Ownership of DocTak materials
DocTak, its platform design, trademarks, logos, interface components, and original service materials are owned by DocTak or its licensors. Except where expressly allowed, these materials may not be copied, distributed, modified, or republished without permission.
2. User-submitted content
Users keep ownership of the content they create and upload, but they must only share materials they are entitled to use. Uploading copyrighted content without authorization, attribution where required, or a valid legal basis is prohibited.
3. Limited licence for platform operation
By sharing content on DocTak, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce, display, adapt for technical delivery, and distribute that content within the service so that posts, files, profiles, and community discussions can function as intended.
4. Educational citation and fair use expectations
Medical and scientific discussion may involve citation, quotation, or commentary on published materials. Users should still attribute sources appropriately, avoid uploading paywalled or protected full-text material without permission, and respect publisher or author restrictions.
5. Reporting infringement
If you believe content on DocTak infringes your copyright, contact us with enough detail to investigate, including identification of the protected work, the location of the material on the platform, and proof that you are the rights holder or authorized representative.
6. Repeat violations and response actions
DocTak may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content, request more information, or suspend accounts involved in repeated or serious infringement. We may also act where trademark misuse or misleading representation affects platform trust.
7. Contact for notices
Copyright and related IP notices can be submitted to support@doctak.net. Please include “Copyright Notice” in the subject line so the request can be routed appropriately.
